Project
Assistants
The job
of Project Assistant is one of those aspects of the project
that often goes unrecognised. Yet our Project Assistants play
an invaluable role in survey collection and keeping track
of participants.
The Project
Assistants are usually university students whom we employ
part-time in the first or second year of their university
life. Many of them stay working with us until their degree
is completed and they then go on to start their chosen career.
The job
involves phoning up to 5,000 participants to remind them to
complete the survey, and completing surveys by phone interviews.
Project
Assistants also 'track' participants for whom WHA has no current
details, i.e. mail has been 'returned to sender'.
